This is the course I have been looking for for many years. Many years..... I am only about 30% through the course, and I already feel like I have enough information and direction to get started in the stock market. The information was presented clearly, and any jargon Bridget used was quickly explained. I really appreciate the plans, the examples, the lists, and the task orientated homework suggestions. This course is perfect for all learning styles. With the written content, webinars, and Facebook group I feel like I am actually absorbing the information that once seemed impossible. I've been able to plan for my financial goals effortlessly with the worksheets, spreadsheets, and invaluable advice that Bridget shares in the course. Building a personalized portfolio and actually having complete control over which stocks are best for me is by far my favorite outcome so far. I used to be scared to put myself in charge of my money but now I feel empowered to do it all. Not only is The Six-Figure Stock Portfolio worth more than its cost, it is also the most useful and practical investing course I've taken or been able to find. Plus, you'll never regret investing in your future self.

Your favorite part of the course - The masterclasses! The most important thing you learned so far - There are a number of things, but the concept of mixing index funds with common stocks was a very important concept. It sounds obvious now that I think about it, but I started educating myself about personal finance about 6 months ago and, like a lot of new investors, I focussed completely on individual stocks and how to analyze them. I then swung to the index fund extreme. This course helped me merge the different ideas in a concrete fashion. How the lessons have inspired you to take charge of your investment portfolio - As someone who really likes studying this material and is prone to a great deal of analysis paralysis, I think this course helped pull me out of the research rabbit-hole just enough to develop more concrete plans. Some of the articles on the Money After Graduation blog are also very well thought out. Articles such as 'You Only Have To Do One Thing Right With Your Money At A Time' address very real problems and are not addressed very often on other personal finance blogs and forums. I do look forward to the community on Facebook growing more. What you're most looking forward to now that you're an investor - I just executed on a part of my first trade plan today. I'm really, really looking forward to focussing on researching common stocks now!

The content is well organized, and Bridget gives easy-to-understand examples for all of the lessons in the course. The structure of the course allows each student to set their own pace, be that extended over several weeks or consumed all in one sitting. Even better, you get lifetime access to the content, including any future updates, so this isn't like some book gathering dust sitting on your shelf. Personally, I gained the most from the lessons on letting go of losing investments. Not every stock or fund we buy will be successful, and it's important not to hang on to your losers. They might eventually recover or they may languish for years, so you would be better off reinvesting that capital into more fruitful options. I also learned how to set a targeted investment allocation and how to adjust it as my accounts grow in value over time. With this knowledge, I was able to identify weaknesses in my existing allocation and begin to deploy new capital to bring it into alignment with my goals.

As someone who has been doing DIY index investing for some time now, I was already familiar with the basics of opening a brokerage account, executing trades, and rebalancing a portfolio of broad-market index ETFs. What I really appreciated from this course, for my own purposes, was that I was able to learn more about how to further optimize what I was already doing. While ETFs make up the bulk of my investment portfolio, I have since added some individual dividend-paying stocks, using the knowledge I gained from this course. Bridget is great at breaking down the most important factors to look at when deciding upon a stock purchase, and she uses very straightforward language, as well as very realistic numbers. I greatly enjoyed the format of this course, with the mix of resources available, including the base material itself, the masterclass sessions that Bridget has hosted, the links to useful outside resources, and the investing spreadsheets that come with purchase. I also appreciate the lifetime access to the material, so that I can go back and review key concepts. Also, for those who are scared of the stock market, Bridget helps put into perspective the relative risks and benefits of investing in the stock market, and makes it a less scary place. Honestly, NOT investing, and therefore not having a retirement nest egg, is scarier. I definitely recommend this course for those who want to make the leap into DIY investing, but need a bit of a push to do so. It has been well worth every penny so far.

This is an excellent course. Bridget knows her stuff and you will benefiting from her knowledge to develop a solid portfolio. I always wanted to delve into investing in the stock market but found the material "dry" and "difficult" to understand. Her explanations and experience make it very straightforward. I highly recommend this course to anyone wanting to build wealth in the stock market. I have been an avid reader at her blog for months. I went from knowing absolutely nothing about the stock market to having sound knowledge on how to build long term wealth. Bridget not only breaks it down in an easy to understand manner but in a way that gets you excited to get started. I was hesitant to buy this course due to spending $500 (CAD), but it is the best $500 I have ever spent. What pushed me over the edge was how many useless University courses I spent $500 on, this one is full of exactly what you need to know to manage your own portfolio, and quite easily do as well as the people managing your fund and charging you 2.3% (ish) for it. The masterclass videos have been my favourite part - kick your feet up and listen to Bridget explain the basics you need to know. The most important thing I have learned is how easy this can be - I was very intimidated by not knowing anything about the market, and within a few weeks I am literate enough to have discussions with my friends with business degrees (and apparently know more than some of them). I was going to split my RRSP to half self managed and half in robo-advisor, but I feel comfortable enough now to manage it fully on my own. I am looking forward to as my fund grows, how much of that 2.3% of my own money I am going to be saving!! Thanks so much Bridget, you've created an excellent course and I'm happy to say it was money well spent.

I would consider myself a novice investor that had been researching how to invest on and off for 2+ years but too scared to actually take the next step and ACTUALLY invest. This course was very reasonably priced and gave me the push I needed to open a DIY investment account. Bridget gave the proper education and tips to make me feel confident! Over the course of 3 months my portfolio has grown by $1,000 and I've gained $80 in dividends. I highly recommend this course!

An excellent program for the 'novice' investor or those looking to get into some solid wealth building....would have liked this program more had it been around 30 years ago!!! ;)

I bought this course over a year ago and entered the market around the same time. It has taught me everything I needed to know, and I still reference the material often. Because of this course, I am confident in the stock market, have created a passive income that pays me every month, I’ve made money in the market, and will NEVER pay anyone to manage my money again. The Six-Figure Stock Portfolio is the the kind of information I wish they taught you in high school. I've often tried seeking out information on investing, stocks, dividends, US and CND terminology like 401k or RRSP and get many different takes or personal opinions online or from friends. The Six-Figure Stock Portfolio has packaged everything in a simple straight forward way for me to understand. I have so much more confidence with my portfolio now and I can actually explain what I'm doing and why I'm doing it. This e-course has already paid for itself and will continue to over and over just based off the changes I've made to my portfolio.

This course so far is simple but complex, a variety of text, to do lists, and videos which I like! I can implement this right away and will be asking my wife to join me this weekend to also review the course! Amazing job and thank you! Looking forward to more courses!!!
